Trezor Warns CryptoBilis Buyers to Move Funds After Suspected Hardware Implant Report
Trezor has urged buyers of its Safe 5 hardware wallet who purchased through reseller CryptoBilis to migrate their funds, after receiving a credible report of a suspected hardware implant inside one of the devices, according to The Block.
Cointelegraph reports the warning applies specifically to customers who bought from CryptoBilis since March. The Defiant reports that Trezor has not yet physically examined the Safe 5 device in question and that no CryptoBilis buyer has so far reported losing funds.
The episode centers on a third-party sales channel rather than Trezor’s own manufacturing or retail process, though the company is advising affected buyers to treat their devices as potentially compromised and move assets to new wallets as a precaution, per The Block and Cointelegraph.

Each figure is this site’s own reading, with what it was measured against. A blank is a reading nobody took, not a zero. The before-the-headline window prints the rate a RANDOM hour clears the same bar, because a hit rate without its null is not a finding.
