Securitize Launches 1:1-Backed Tokenized Stocks on Solana, Starting With Apple, Nvidia and Tesla

Securitize has launched a product called Securitize Stocks, offering tokenized versions of 12 US equities including Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, Amazon and Strategy, according to Decrypt and Cointelegraph. Each token is backed 1:1 by real shares, preserving dividend payments and voting rights, according to The Block and Decrypt.

The tokens are trading first on the Solana network, with settlement in USDC, according to The Block. Eligible US and EU investors can access the tokens through Securitize’s broker-dealer platform, according to The Defiant.

Trading on the New York Stock Exchange and on OKX-ICE venues is planned but not yet live, according to CoinDesk and The Defiant. Cointelegraph also reported plans for round-the-clock trading of the tokenized shares.
