NBA Names Kalshi and Polymarket Preferred Exchanges, Signs CFTC Integrity Pact
The NBA has designated Kalshi as a preferred prediction market exchange, a deal that brings official league data and NBA branding to the platform, according to The Defiant. Polymarket received the same preferred designation, The Defiant reported.
The league also signed an agreement with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission establishing standards meant to protect the integrity of games as prediction markets grow around them, according to The Block. The Block reported the NBA is the third professional sports league to sign such a pact with the CFTC.
CoinDesk reported the NBA’s move puts it alongside other pro leagues that have struck similar arrangements with the CFTC, while the NFL has so far declined to join. Cointelegraph reported the arrangement includes official data agreements along with safeguards intended to guard against insider trading tied to league information.

What the market did
Each figure is this site’s own reading, with what it was measured against. A blank is a reading nobody took, not a zero. The before-the-headline window prints the rate a RANDOM hour clears the same bar, because a hit rate without its null is not a finding.
