ICE Takes Stake in Trade[XYZ] to Launch US-Regulated Hyperliquid Perpetual Futures, HYPE Jumps
Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, has signed a deal with Trade[XYZ] to bring regulated perpetual futures built on Hyperliquid to the United States, according to CoinDesk and Decrypt.
ICE is taking a minority stake in Trade[XYZ] as part of the partnership, according to The Defiant and The Block. Retail investors would gain access through regulated futures brokers, including ICE’s joint venture with OKX, according to The Defiant.
The news sent Hyperliquid’s native token HYPE higher. The Block reported a HYPE surges 15% as NYSE parent ICE moves to bring Hyperliquid perps to US.
