The agreement covers 191 megawatts of capacity from Riot’s Rockdale campus in Texas, according to Cointelegraph, which put the deal’s value at $9 billion. The Block reported the contract includes two five-year extension options that could raise its total potential value to $16.1 billion.

Separately, Intel is planning a $15 billion stock offering as AI demand accelerates, according to CNBC. CNBC reported that technology companies have already spent trillions of dollars supporting AI infrastructure buildout.
