- In it, he said Ethereum is "really not just a blockchain anymore," according to The Block.
- According to The Defiant, Buterin's vision centers on turning Ethereum into a "cryptographic world computer," with the framework leaning on proof aggregation and ongoing open research efforts.
- The Defiant reports that a scheduled upgrade called Hegota is positioned as part of this shift, with changes aimed at improving censorship resistance and giving wallets more flexibility.
- CoinDesk reports that Buterin's post lays out a sweeping vision for Ethereum's trajectory toward 2030, describing a shift in how the protocol is conceived beyond its original blockchain framing.
- The post did not detail a full technical specification in the reporting available, but signals that Buterin sees Ethereum's core identity moving away from a simple ledger toward a broader cryptographic infrastructure layer, according to the cited outlets.

The Block.
